Gumbo Limbo - SURF CAMP

Gumbo Limbo is a unique bed & breakfast located in the hills of Santa Teresa, just 2 minutes to Santa Teresa beach and town.  Along with stunning ocean views, Gumbo Limbo's central, hilltop location provides seclusion- a nice break from the dust and bustle of town, while being only a 2 minute drive to the beach and main road.  A 4x4 vehicle, which is generally better for Costa Rica roads, is recommended to reach our property.

Gumbo Limbo is all about surf, relaxing and having a good time. If you are looking to have an amazing surfing experience in a quiet and relaxing place with nice atmosphere and comfortable accommodation, this is for you. You will learn or improve your surfing skills while you stay with us in one of the best locations in Santa Teresa.

The beaches that we usually go to for the lessons are here in Santa Teresa, a 2 minute drive away; or Playa Hermosa, a 10 minute drive north. Both have perfect conditions for beginners. We work with local instructors that know the best spots for all conditions and they will follow your progress from day one to the last. As we work with small groups we give individual attention giving you more in the water making a big difference in your progress.
