Natural Surfcamp

Our basecamp is located in Lajares, in the centre of the north of the island and has recently been renovated with a superchill Jacuzzi, terrace and outdoor shower. The house lies 1km from the town centre where you can find a supermarket, restaurants, bars and pharmacy and is only 5 minutes away from the famous North Shore and many good surf spots. The tourist centre of Corralejo, is12km from Lajares.

At Naturalsurfcamp all ocean lovers are welcome, we host surfers, tandem surfers and windsurfers, kiters and SUP’ers from all over the globe. Spoken languages are Dutch, English, French, Spanish some German and Italian.

SURFSCHOOL

All surf levels are welcome to join our surf school. We teach from first day beginners to intermediate and advanced surfers, 365 days a year! We work only with professional surf instructors with over 10 years of experience. We offer surf lessons in groups of max.8 and we also do PRIVATE surf courses for 1 or max. 2 students. A day of surf lessons consists of theory about safety on the beach and in the water, currents and other factors which one has to be aware of when surfing. A good warm-up and then off to catch the waves with your instructor on a suitable board, wearing one of our wetsuits….so all material is included. It will be approximately 4 hours between leaving the school and driving back to Lajares.

EXTREME CAMP TRIP

From last summer, 2012, we started with a brand new concept “EXTREME CAMP TRIP”. You book this awesome 5 day-trip for a minimum of 3 to a maximum of 4 persons.

After spending the first night at the base camp, we leave for a 2 hour drive South in a modified 4x4 camper. We take boards, mountain bikes and kayaks to enjoy land and ocean to the fullest.

The idea is to spend every night on another beach but as we are flexible, all programmes can be adapted to your choice. On the programmes we have beach cleans, museum visits, volcano walks, star observation nights, mountain biking, surfing and kayaking…etc.
