Situated on the most south western point of Europe. The iconic town of Sagres in Portugal is where the Funky Monkey Hostel allows our guests to enjoy all of the commodities our house has to offer, including dorms and private rooms with TV. Our open plan kitchen has amazing views of the garden and surroundings and the incredible living room and fireplace is perfect for warming up and relaxing as well as sharing your experiences after an epic winter surf session.

But… the real secret of the Funky Monkey hides in the Gardens of the Hostel. With 3000m2 of gardens to enjoy, we created different areas allowing our guests a range of different spaces to choose from for each moment and mood. Whether you want hang out and enjoy our wonderful rooftop terrace, the perfect place to combine a good beer, sunbathing in our hammocks or watching the sunset. Relax in our tropical gardens and chill out zones, have fun in our gaming area with ping pong table, football kicker, pool table and darts and don’t forget our barbeque area, always ready for FMH guests to enjoy good food and the best international company.
