Maria Mar Surf and Guest House

The House is a 10 minute walk from the centre of Melides, a 5 minute drive from its beaches and 20 minute drive to the Carvalhal-Comporta area where we’ll take you for your surfing lessons with the stunning background of the Serra da Arrábida towards the north.  

We have:

• 1 double room 
• 1 double room with a loft bed
• 1 shared room with 3 bunk beds (6 single beds) with lockers
• 1 living room with fireplace, television with cable tv, computer with internet + reading area + dining room (open space)
• 1 kitchen with tableware, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, coffee machine and dishwasher machine
• 2 shared bathrooms
• Typical tank
• Large garden with fruit tree and BBQ
• Wi-Fi in all inside areas
• No private parking

We are Ana and Daniel, a young married couple who enjoy nature more than anything. We also give Surf lessons at our small Surf School in Carvalhal beach. We love our village, Melides, and we would like to share with you all the beauties that we are lucky to know since we were born. In order to celebrate the first birthday of our daughter, Maria Mar, we´ve opened Maria Mar - Surf & Guest House, in 2015.

We live here, so we are always around to help you organise your surf days… and all the other great things to do around here:  stand-up paddle in the gorgeous lagoon, walking, hiking, biking, horse riding, where to eat, shop...
