We rent now as "The Rocket Inn Surf House" a few rooms or if necessary from April also a whole apartment on two levels with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large kitchen with access to a small living room with sofa bed. In total, we can accommodate up to 12 people. There is a large south-facing balcony with plenty of sun and a huge terrace with two barbecue areas. A garden completes the whole thing and in spring we build an additional hammock deck there.
Soon we offer another small studio for 2-4 persons in the same house with its own terrace and small garden.

The typical Portuguese house, which we will soon have completely renovated, is located on a hill overlooking the sea above the cute old town of Ericeira, located in a beautiful surf reserve with stunning beaches and some of Europe's best surfing spots.

Shops, restaurants, bars and the historic old town are within walking distance in 10-25 minutes (depending on where you want to go), the nearest surf spot is best reached by car in just 3 minutes. Nearby are the spots "Ribeira da Ilhas", "Pedro Branca", "Cave", "Crazy Left" or "Coxos" along with many other lesser-known waves, which we are happy to show you. For beginners, we also know a few "secret spots" (with which nobody expects) or actually almost empty beach breaks.

The house is located about 2 km from the sea, but you can see it from the hills of the small, classic Portuguese village Outeirinho and find away from the hustle and bustle priceless tranquility. Here, the simple country life is announced: the crickets also chirp on January evenings, the neighbor comes for a little gossip to the garden fence and helps with grapevine cutting, the vegetable man on the tractor is now welcomed by "beijinhos", all share the love of the sea , Sun and the fresh fish from the grill.

If necessary, we rent surfboards and as a shaper, Charl likes to repair your own boards or make a new one on request. We are happy to arrange surf lessons or surfguiding.

But this place in the sun also invites everyone who does not (yet) surf. You can wonderfully walk and biking, lying lazily on the beach, stroll through the (beach) bars or visit the surrounding cities such as Lisbon, Sintra or Obidos with their impressive World Heritage architecture.

In summer, there are enough parties to beat your ears around the ears, in case of doubt it's on the weekend to Lisbon (35min). We recommend a rental car, which is very cheap here in Portugal. But also Uber is extremely cheap here (and legal!). It takes about 35 minutes to Lisbon airport, 40 minutes to Peniche / Baleal and 1.5 hours to Nazare (keyword: monster waves).

Basically we are very happy about a visit, even if it's just a glass of Vinho Verde or a surf together!
